Is there a study that links babies concieved while the male was on viagra to hyperness or aggressiveness?
I was taking viagra when my children were concieved. They are abosolutly out of control at ages 5 and 3. Other parents say good luck, but I was wondering if there are any studys linking agressiveness and hyperness to viagra.
You, I believe have a parenting problem, not a psychological one, although it may create one if not resolved now.
Suggest you read "People Making", by Virginia Satir. it is really helpful in rearing children.

No there are not. This is a relatively new drug. My best guess would be that your problem is parenting style. Kids being out of control is usually not a medical problem, normally it is caused by lack of discipline.
If you think about it, all Viagra does is vasodialation of the blood vessels, allowing you blood vessels to open. This causes the spongy tissue in your penis to become filled with blood, giving you an erection.
This has no effect on your sperm. If you think about it, the sperm that actually become ejaculated from your body, were made previously to you taking ths drug. So in reality- you can conclude that the drug basically has no effect on your offspring.
If it did- I am sure they would have done tests previous to release that tested for any kind of fetal effects.
I don't mean to give parenting advice- because I have chosen to have none myself due to other people's children being monsters. But if I were you and my children were out of control, I would think that something needed to change. Maybe if you don't discipline your children, you might start. And if you are already disciplining them, then maybe you should seek some other counsiling to see what you can change to get control over your children.
Like I said- I am not trying to say you aren't good parents at all. Just sometimes parents think they are doing what's best for their children and in reality it can really be setting them back. Hope this helps.
