It depends on how much food is on your stomach. If you are eating a big meal take it 2 hours before. If you take in on an empty stomach you will notice the results very quickly. Take with water only.

    45 Minutes or so before sexual activity.
    And no you don't need to take anything else with it. Just wash it down with some water!
    Avoid alcohol.
